Role Purpose
Lead and manage the delivery of comprehensive clinic services by aligning people, processes, and resources to meet patient needs, clinical standards, and financial objectives while ensuring an exceptional patient experience.
Key Responsibilities

Drive service excellence and patient satisfaction to support sustainable clinic profitability

Lead clinic operations by aligning priorities, workflows, and resources with clinical and business goals

Manage clinic budgets and resources to ensure cost-effective service delivery

Monitor service trends and patient feedback to implement continuous improvement initiatives

Ensure full compliance with healthcare legislation, infection control standards, and clinical governance frameworks
-
Build, lead, and develop a high-performing and engaged clinic team

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support integrated patient care and service expansion
-
Provide accurate and timely operational, financial, and performance reporting
-
Manage financial, human, and operational resources to achieve the clinic operating plan
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications
Essential
-
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Nursing, Health Sciences, or a related clinical field
-
Registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) and relevant professional body
-
Proof of compliance with Continuing Professional Development requirements
Desirable
-
Postgraduate qualification in Healthcare Management, Public Health, or Business
-
Additional registration with a recognised healthcare management body
-
Advanced Life Support or infection prevention and control training
-
Accreditation or training in quality assurance, clinical governance, or risk management
Experience
Essential
-
Minimum 8 years’ clinical experience in a clinic, primary healthcare, or hospital environment
-
At least 3 years’ experience in a supervisory or management role within healthcare
-
Minimum 2 years’ experience managing clinic operations, including staffing, stock control, and workflow planning
-
At least 2 years’ experience in budgeting, resource planning, and cost control
Desirable

Experience in specialised clinic services such as baby clinic, wound care, travel medicine, or women’s health
-
Exposure to revenue generation, service pricing, and financial reporting
-
Experience with healthcare audits and quality assurance processes
-
Experience implementing patient satisfaction or community outreach initiatives
