Job Overview
Dis-Chem Pharmacies is seeking a qualified Beauty Therapist for their Pretoria Salon. The role involves delivering exceptional skincare and body treatments while promoting Dis-Chem Beauty Salon services. The successful candidate will ensure excellent client care and contribute to a professional salon environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide customers with an exceptional salon experience

• Perform facials, waxing, massages, manicures, and pedicures according to Dis-Chem standards

• Respond to customer queries, complaints, and compliments with professionalism

• Stay updated on new products, treatments, and service techniques

• Maintain and manage stock levels in line with salon requirements

• Ensure all salon equipment is functional, clean, and sanitary at all times

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 / Matric

• 2-year relevant National or International Certificate or Diploma in Beauty Therapy

• Minimum 12 months’ practical experience in a professional beauty salon

• Computer literate with sound numerical skills

• Willingness to work retail hours

Advantageous

• 3-year relevant National or International Certificate or Diploma in Beauty Therapy

• Minimum 3 years’ practical experience in a professional beauty salon

• Knowledge of soft laser, bio-magnetic therapy, microdermabrasion, slimming treatments, and spray tanning

• Training on additional salon equipment

• Bilingual proficiency

• Strong understanding of skin anatomy, physiology, and treatment contraindications

• Excellent communication skills in English (written and oral)

Special Conditions of Employment
