Job Description
Dis-Chem Pharmacies is seeking qualified Beauty Therapists to join their Talent Pool for future opportunities across various stores. The Beauty Therapist Talent Pool ensures a ready group of pre-screened professionals with the skills, qualifications, and experience required to deliver exceptional salon services.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide customers with an outstanding salon experience
• Perform facials, waxing, massages, manicures, and pedicures according to Dis-Chem standards
• Respond to and report customer queries, complaints, and compliments
• Stay informed on new products, treatments, and service techniques
• Manage stock levels in line with salon requirements
• Maintain all salon equipment in a clean, operational, and hygienic condition

Minimum Requirements
Essential:

• Grade 12 / Matric
• 2-year National or International Certificate or Diploma in Beauty Therapy
• Minimum 12 months’ practical experience in a professional beauty salon
• Computer literate with sound numerical skills
• Willingness to work retail hours

Advantageous:

• 3-year National or International Certificate or Diploma in Beauty Therapy
• Minimum 3 years’ technical/practical experience in a professional beauty salon

Competencies
Essential:

• Knowledge of skin anatomy, physiology, and treatment contraindications
• Strong command of English (written and spoken)
• Team player with excellent customer relations skills
• Target and deadline driven

Advantageous:

• Experience with soft laser, bio-magnetic therapy, microdermabrasion, slimming, and spray tan
• Additional training on laser or salon equipment
• Bilingual

Special Conditions of Employment

• Willingness to work retail hours and travel to the store
• Physically able to perform massages, facials, and body treatments
• South African citizen
• Clear credit and criminal records
