Responsibilities
- Supervise and support van sales representatives to achieve maximum profitability and growth in line with organizational objectives.
- Lead, drive, and embed a customer-focused sales culture.
- Conduct daily gate meetings before market activities.
- Monitor and review performance, execution, and discipline KPIs.
- Coach sales staff to enhance capability and performance, including in-market coaching for van sales representatives.
- Ensure 100% outlet coverage within assigned routes.
- Conduct individual customer visits to address specific issues.
- Drive business development and growth of the customer base.
- Develop and implement internal and external strategies to increase market share and business growth.
- Align strategic direction with organizational goals and manage change effectively.
- Conduct regular training sessions with the training team on critical business skills.
- Perform performance reviews and provide feedback to the sales team.
Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, or equivalent (3 years).
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in FMCG, including at least 1 year in a sales role.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Strong customer relations and results-driven mindset.
- Self-starter with ability to work independently.
- Analytical thinking with the ability to apply insights to drive volume growth.
- Strong planning, organizing, influencing, and negotiating skills.
- Ability to communicate with impact and analyze sales reports to identify opportunities for growth.
