About the Role:
Pepkor is seeking a detail-oriented Debt Review Agent to manage accounts under debt review, administration, and other specialized collections processes. The role involves analysing accounts, processing legal documentation, and engaging with customers to ensure compliance and effective resolution of debts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts under debt review, sequestration, debt consolidation, debt mediation, administration orders, court notices, and court orders.
• Analyse account histories before contacting debtors and evaluate previous collection efforts.
• Engage effectively with customers and escalate matters when necessary.
• Process administrative duties related to specialised collections.
• Allocate payments to the corresponding accounts and manage refunds accurately.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Senior Certificate – Grade 12.
• Minimum 1 year experience within a Debt Review environment is advantageous.
• Administrative and data capturing experience.
• Availability to work Saturdays as required.

• Ability to facilitate teamwork.
• Self-monitoring, personal management, and discipline.
• Adaptable and able to manage multiple responsibilities.

Technical & Functional:

• Proficient in MS Office.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a good command of English and an additional language.
• Numerate with strong attention to detail.
• Knowledge of the National Credit Act and collections industry.
• Understanding of billing and collections procedures.

Additional Advantages:

• Applicants studying towards an LLB degree or similar will be preferred.
• May be required to undergo criminal and reference checks, as well as competency assessments.
