IT Solution Delivery Executive – Clicks Group Careers
Job Purpose
To drive the delivery of IT solutions that align with the Group’s business strategy, ensuring operational excellence, system integrity, and optimal project execution across IT applications and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain the IT Roadmap in alignment with business objectives, in conjunction with IT Senior Management.

Collaborate with application portfolio managers, PMO managers, and enterprise architects to prioritise business requirements and manage IT project schedules.

Plan and coordinate team resources to meet IT demand, resolving priority and resourcing challenges across project and application teams.

Work with IT Executives to ensure production uptime and data integrity according to defined SLAs.

Participate in contract and commercial negotiations, managing vendor performance to meet service level agreements.

Define and implement best practices for system design, integration, and application architecture.

Embed ITIL principles within the SDLC, ensuring clear accountabilities.

Resolve escalated faults, queries, and problems efficiently.

Drive project management principles and execution disciplines to support business changes effectively.

Manage annual and monthly IT budgets, identifying cost-saving opportunities and executing agreed plans.

Develop and mentor employees, partners, and suppliers to enable innovation and achieve Group strategies.

Build strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to stay aligned with business needs, risks, and opportunities.
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications and Experience:

B Degree or Post Graduate Diploma in Information Technology or related fields (essential)

Project Management certification (PMBOK, Prince2) (desirable)

6-8 years of senior IT management experience, preferably in merchandise and supply chain IT

Proven experience in managing large teams, IT application development, and maintenance

Strong background in project delivery, managing multiple projects or complex IT programmes

Experience managing outsourced or vendor-managed services
-
Demonstrable ability to implement systematic change and process improvements
-
Experience managing large IT budgets
