Clover Vacancies – Account Manager – Queensburgh

Clover is looking for an Account Manager to maximize sales in allocated stores across Hillcrest, Upper Highway, and Pietermaritzburg. The primary responsibility of this position is to drive sales growth and ensure successful relationships with all stakeholders in these areas.

Requirements:

  • National Diploma

  • Fluent in Business English

  • Intermediate computer literacy

  • Code 10 motor vehicle license

  • Willingness to travel off-site and stay overnight

  • 3 – 5 years of experience working with senior management

  • 3 – 5 years of experience in people/team management

  • 3 – 5 years of experience in FMCG sales management

  • Experience working with the corporate channel is advantageous

Duties and Responsibilities:

Plan Daily Activities and Perform Administrative Tasks:

  • Prepare and execute call cycle plans

  • Complete necessary sales administration

Maintain Outlet to Required Standards:

  • Identify and address deviations from set standards

  • Contribute to maintaining the brand image and enhancing customer service in the outlet

Generate Sales in the Outlet:

  • Manage backup storage facilities

  • Generate and negotiate suggested orders

  • Confirm objectives for planned calls

  • Identify new opportunities for business growth

Formulate and Implement Account Plans:

  • Investigate and identify opportunities for sales growth

  • Develop, negotiate, implement, and review account plans to drive business success

Optimize Human Resources:

  • Identify and close people gaps within the team

  • Manage the performance of the team

  • Train and develop merchandisers

  • Create and maintain a motivating work environment
