Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa is seeking a driven and experienced Account Manager to join the Sales team in Mossel Bay. This role reports directly to the Sales Manager and offers an exciting opportunity to drive growth and foster strong customer relationships within a fast-paced FMCG environment.
Purpose of the Role
The Account Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategic account plans to drive profitable sales of CCBSA products. This includes growing customer accounts, optimizing service levels, maintaining assets, and identifying new business opportunities to ensure customer satisfaction, brand loyalty, and volume growth.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement account plans tailored to customer needs and aligned with business goals

Identify and secure new business opportunities to grow the customer base

Conduct account reviews to monitor performance, set objectives, and identify areas for improvement

Optimize customer service delivery through consistent engagement and support

Manage existing accounts to ensure maximum profitability and value delivery

Maintain all company assets placed at customer locations, including coolers and equipment

Generate accurate orders and execute promotional activities to drive visibility and sales

Ensure proper handling of cash and credit accounts, managing credit limits and payment follow-ups

Compile competitor insights and contribute to market intelligence

Ensure trade execution standards are upheld, including merchandising and product availability
Key Competencies and Knowledge

Qualifications and Experience

Matric and a completed 3-year qualification in Sales, Marketing, or related field

At least 2 years of relevant sales experience in the FMCG sector

Valid Code 08 driver’s license

Computer literacy or willingness to acquire necessary digital skills
