Coca Cola Vacancies – Account Manager: Relief – Pretoria
Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa (CCBSA) is seeking a skilled and driven individual for the position of Account Manager: Relief, based in Pretoria. This role reports directly to the Sales Manager and offers an excellent opportunity to build and maintain strong customer relationships while driving profitable volume growth.
Purpose of the Role
The primary focus of the Account Manager: Relief is to implement and manage account plans that support the profitable sales of CCBSA products. The role also focuses on developing new business opportunities, ensuring high standards of customer service, and strengthening brand presence and loyalty in the market.
Key Responsibilities

Identify and activate new business opportunities within designated territories

Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain strong client relationships

Develop and review account plans and strategies

Optimize sales performance through proactive account management

Maintain and manage company assets including merchandising tools and equipment

Process and generate customer orders effectively

Execute trade promotions and ensure their visibility in stores

Manage customer credit accounts and cash handling as per company policies

Conduct competitor activity reporting to inform market strategies
Required Knowledge and Competencies

Strong understanding of sales and marketing principles

Knowledge of CCBSA products and market dynamics

Familiarity with trade sales practices, merchandising standards, and cooler management

Proficiency in order taking, trade replacement planning, and credit management

Basic finance and commercial acumen

Qualifications and Experience

Matric (Grade 12) and a completed 3-year qualification in Sales or Marketing

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a sales or marketing role within an FMCG environment

Code 08 driver’s license and willingness to travel

Basic computer literacy or willingness to be trained
Additional Information
This is a permanent position based in Pretoria. Candidates must be willing to relocate if necessary. Shortlisting will be based on the minimum requirements and additional relevant criteria.
