Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa has an exciting opportunity in the Sales department for an experienced Account Manager based in Vryheid. The successful candidate will report to the Sales Manager and will play a key role in driving sustainable volume growth and building strong customer partnerships across their assigned area.
Role Purpose
The Account Manager is responsible for developing and executing effective account plans that support profitable sales growth, increased brand loyalty, and exceptional customer service. This includes managing key accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring consistent execution of trade strategies in line with company objectives.
Responsibilities

Develop and maintain account plans that drive volume, visibility, and profitability

Identify and implement new business opportunities to expand customer base

Build and manage strong relationships with key customers to support long-term growth

Conduct regular account reviews to evaluate performance and identify improvements

Ensure excellent service delivery and support across all customer touchpoints
-
Manage assets and promotional execution to maximize return on investment

Accurately generate customer orders and manage credit limits and payments

Monitor and report on competitor activity, market trends, and sales opportunities

Ensure the effective merchandising and positioning of products in-store

Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery and stock availability

Solid understanding of sales and marketing principles

Strong product knowledge and familiarity with merchandising practices

Qualifications and Experience

Matric plus a completed 3-year qualification in Sales or Marketing

Minimum 2 years of relevant FMCG sales or marketing experience

Valid Code 08 driver’s license
-
Computer literate or willingness to acquire necessary digital skills
