Responsibilities
As an Accounts Payable Assistant, you will be responsible for managing all accounts payable services for both vendors and internal stakeholders. Key duties include:

  • Investigating, tracking, and reporting invoices to ensure accurate processing for payment

  • Checking account balances and reconciling vendor statements

  • Following up on any discrepancies between invoices and payments

  • Managing vendor master data and ensuring timely and accurate payment processing

  • Reporting on overdue accounts and invalid liabilities affecting the P&L (GRIR)

  • Sending follow-up inquiries to vendors regarding short-paid invoices

Qualifications

  • Matric or equivalent qualification

  • National Diploma or Degree in Finance or related field

  • Proficiency in MS Office

  • Experience with SAP is preferred

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Accounts Payable
