Fidelity Services Group is currently seeking a vigilant and professional Armed Response Officer to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to patrol assigned areas, respond swiftly to security alerts from the monitoring centre, and ensure the safety of our clients and their premises.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of Grade 10

• PSIRA Grade C and Armed Response certification

• Valid firearm competency

• Minimum of 2 years’ driving experience with a valid driver’s license

Job Requirements and Attributes

• Familiarity with the designated patrol area

• Strong knowledge of Master Drive techniques

• Ability to handle high-pressure situations and respond quickly

• Professional conduct and strong interpersonal skills

• Commitment to client service and safety

• Good personal hygiene and neat appearance

Key Responsibilities

• Patrol designated areas and respond to alarm signals in a timely manner

• Maintain required response times as set by management

• Use efficient routes to reach client locations quickly

• Thoroughly check premises and ensure the safety of clients

• Follow up with clients after incidents and provide necessary support

• Handle complaints or problems and escalate when needed

• Conduct public relations and introductory visits to new clients

• Complete and submit daily and weekly checklists and reports

• Comply with company SOPs, including parade procedures and vehicle inspections

• Maintain proper radio communication in line with prescribed procedures

• Keep the workstation and patrol vehicle clean and orderly

• Attend all mandatory meetings and training sessions

• Demonstrate expertise and professionalism in all duties

• Use company resources responsibly, including avoiding private use of company phones
