Main Purpose of Job:
The primary responsibility of the Armed Response Officer is to patrol assigned areas and respond to client signals forwarded from the monitoring centre.
Qualifications & Experience:

Grade 10
-
PSIRA Registered Grade C & Armed Response (AR)
-
Firearm competency
Job Requirements & Other Attributes:

Valid driver’s license (at least 2 years)

Master drive experience

Good area knowledge
Duties:
-
Familiarize yourself with the designated area to ensure efficient response times.
-
Maintain response times as per management requirements.
-
Utilize driving skills to take the shortest possible routes for efficient patrols.
-
Get to know the premises and surrounding areas to respond effectively.
-
Follow up with clients after serious incidents to offer assistance.
-
Pay close attention to all calls and provide the necessary support for any complaints or issues.
-
Conduct public relations and introduce yourself to new clients.

Ensure the safety of clients by thoroughly checking their premises and being attentive to their welfare.

Show empathy and listen attentively to clients, addressing their concerns with care.
-
Provide feedback to clients when necessary.

Maintain uniform etiquette and conduct daily parades in line with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
-
Ensure the general appearance of the vehicle meets company standards and complete the daily/weekly checklist.

Maintain personal hygiene and cleanliness at all times.

Submit detailed reports and feedback as requested by management.

Follow prescribed radio procedures as outlined by ADT Security.

Ensure that accurate information is communicated both upwards and downwards in the organization.

Keep your workstation and office area neat and organized.

Attend required meetings and training sessions regularly.

Demonstrate expert knowledge in all aspects of the position.

Use company resources, such as telephones, for work-related purposes only.
