Fidelity is seeking a dedicated Armed Response Officer to join our team. The primary responsibility of the Armed Response Officer is to patrol and respond to client alerts and signals from the monitoring centre to ensure safety and security.

Qualification & Experience

• Grade 10

• PSIRA Registered Grade C & AR

• Firearm competency

Job Requirements & Other Attributes

• Valid driver’s license with at least 2 years of driving experience

• Master Drive (knowledge of driving protocols)

• Knowledge of the local area

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to handle stressful situations with professionalism

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Familiarize yourself with the assigned patrol area and premises

• Ensure response times meet management’s standards

• Use the most efficient routes for responding to incidents

• Conduct thorough checks on client premises to ensure their safety

• Assist clients after serious incidents and offer the necessary support

• Follow up on client concerns, complaints, and queries

• Conduct public relations and introductory calls for new clients

• Ensure the safety of clients by regularly inspecting their premises

• Show empathy and listen attentively to clients’ concerns

• Provide detailed feedback to clients when necessary

• Ensure uniform and vehicle appearance are up to company standards

• Complete daily and weekly checklists as required

• Adhere to company policies, including radio communication procedures and reporting standards

• Maintain a clean and organized workstation/office

• Attend required meetings and training sessions

• Follow Standing Operating Procedures (SOP) and demonstrate expert knowledge of your duties

• Maintain professionalism and avoid personal use of company equipment
