Mr Price is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for the Power Fashion store in Empangeni. This role is responsible for supporting the Store Manager and ensuring that all company standards are upheld in their absence, including housekeeping, merchandising, shrinkage control, discipline, and security.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily banking procedures and ensure accuracy

• Take charge in the absence of the Store Manager

• Maintain high standards of housekeeping, merchandising, and shrinkage control

• Enforce all company policies and procedures across the store

• Assist the Store Manager in managing and developing staff performance

• Ensure effective front-end controls are in place

• Oversee the cash office operations to maintain compliance and security

• Take proactive measures to minimize stock loss

• Drive customer service excellence and implement sales initiatives to meet store targets

Qualifications

• Matric / Grade 12 or NQF Level 4 (Mathematics is an advantage)

• Previous experience managing people and departments

• Experience in a clothing retail environment is highly advantageous

• Strong communication and administrative skills

• Ability to make decisions, plan effectively, and stay organized

• Demonstrated leadership abilities and a proactive attitude

• Ethical, honest, and committed to maintaining high standards of integrity
