Mr Price is hiring an Assistant Store Manager for Power Fashion, responsible for supporting the Store Manager and ensuring all operational standards are upheld. This role requires a hands-on leader who can maintain store performance, drive sales, and lead a team effectively in the absence of the Store Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle daily banking and cash office operations to ensure accurate and secure transactions.

• Step in for the Store Manager when required and maintain continuity in leadership.

• Uphold company standards across housekeeping, merchandising, shrinkage control, discipline, and security.

• Ensure compliance with all operational procedures and company policies.

• Support the Store Manager with staff management, including scheduling, supervision, and performance support.

• Maintain strong front-end controls to ensure transactional accuracy and security.

• Lead customer service initiatives and implement sales strategies to meet store targets.

• Minimize stock loss through effective stock control measures and loss prevention practices.

Minimum Requirements

• Matric / Grade 12 (Mathematics is an advantage) or NQF Level 4.

• Previous experience managing people or a department within a retail environment.

• Clothing retail experience will be highly advantageous.

• Strong communication and administrative skills.

• Confident decision-maker with strong organizational and planning abilities.

• Proven ability to maintain productivity and lead by example.

• Demonstrates ethical behavior, honesty, integrity, and proactive leadership.

• Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and committed to achieving results.
