Position: Assistant Store Manager Power Fashion

Mr Price is hiring an Assistant Store Manager for Power Fashion to support daily store operations and step in for the Store Manager when required. This role involves upholding company standards across housekeeping, merchandising, shrinkage, and team supervision, while driving store performance and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily banking and financial procedures accurately

• Assist the Store Manager and take full responsibility during their absence

• Ensure company standards are maintained in all areas including housekeeping, merchandising, security, and shrinkage control

• Enforce compliance with all operational procedures and policies

• Support the Store Manager in staff management, training, and performance oversight

• Implement and maintain front-end operational controls

• Supervise cash office operations to ensure accuracy and compliance

• Drive initiatives to reduce stock loss and improve inventory control

• Deliver excellent customer service and implement sales initiatives to help the store reach its targets

Qualifications

• Matric / Grade 12 or NQF Level 4 (Mathematics is an advantage)

• Proven experience in people and departmental management

• Background in clothing retail is highly advantageous

• Strong communication and administrative skills

• Ability to make decisions, plan, and organize effectively

• Leadership qualities with a proactive, self-motivated, and ethical approach

• High levels of integrity, enthusiasm, and commitment to productivity
