Clicks Group Careers – Beauty Assistant
Clicks Group is looking for a vibrant and customer-focused Beauty Assistant to join the team. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional service through expert advice on beauty and skincare products, driving sales, and maintaining the high standards of the beauty department.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide knowledgeable and professional advice to customers on beauty and skincare products to help them make informed purchasing decisions

Maximise sales through effective promotion, cross-selling, and up-selling to consistently meet monthly sales targets

Evaluate product performance and make recommendations to improve product offerings and increase sales

Stay updated on the latest beauty trends, new product launches, promotions, and events to provide accurate information to customers

Execute all operational tasks in the beauty department, including stock control, shrinkage management, and general housekeeping

Maintain high visual merchandising standards and ensure the department is well presented in line with brand guidelines

Offer excellent customer service by being a visible, approachable, and professional brand ambassador

Promote the Clicks clubcard by enrolling new members and contributing to the achievement of participation targets

Support private label and exclusive product promotions to increase profitability and customer loyalty

Contribute to the store’s positioning as the preferred health and beauty retailer by living the Clicks values
Education and Experience:
-
Essential: Grade 12
-
Desirable: Beauty or skincare-related qualification
-
Desirable: Experience in beauty, skincare, retail, FMCG, sales, or marketing environments
Skills and Knowledge Required:

Solid understanding of selling principles and customer engagement
-
Knowledge of merchandising and promotions in a retail or FMCG environment

Familiarity with stock management processes

Understanding of customer service excellence and the beauty/skincare industry

Results-driven mindset with a strong sales orientation

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
