Fidelity Vacancies – Billing Clerk

Job Description:
The Billing Clerk position is available at our Port Elizabeth Branch, reporting to the Branch Manager. The primary purpose of this position is to maintain accurate revenue figures for the operational branches and ensure proper billing procedures are followed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum Matric Certificate and/or relevant post-Matric qualifications

  • Knowledge of debtors, credit control, and reconciliation functions

  • SAP knowledge is an advantage

  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • High level of accuracy and methodical working methods

  • Ability to liaise professionally with personnel at all levels

  • Ability to work independently, under pressure, and meet strict deadlines

  • Previous experience in the security environment is advantageous

Key Performance Areas:

  • Process sales orders, memos, and emails to load and bill new contracts for branches

  • Handle stock, billing, and credit notes related to stock

  • Generate, print, and distribute posting sheets for branches

  • Ensure timely and accurate monthly invoicing and credits

  • Prepare month-end reports and distribute to top management

  • Communicate regularly with branches to address billing-related queries

  • Manage amendments, increases, and terminations on existing contracts

  • Capture orders on the system and assist Credit Controllers

  • Process and print credit notes, invoices, and posting lists

  • Address queries related to the Billing Department
