The position of Box Room Operator is currently available at our Mafikeng Branch. This role is crucial for the efficient distribution and receipt of consignments within the vault room, ensuring that all procedures are followed accurately and securely.

Minimum Requirements:

• Clear criminal record

• PSIRA accredited with a minimum Grade C qualification (advantageous)

• At least 1 year of experience in the security industry or a similar role

• Computer literate (mandatory)

• Excellent communication skills

• Ability to work night shifts

• Capability to work under pressure

• Physically fit for the role

Job Specification (not entirely inclusive):

• Prepare for vault room duties and ensure compliance with safety procedures

• Plan vault room schedules for Cash-in-Transit (CIT)

• Receive and distribute consignments to and from CIT teams

• Scan consignments and update records

• Balance the vault and secure it appropriately after hours

• Sort consignments as required

• Handle documentation and administrative duties related to consignments

• Conduct searching duties as needed
