Responsibilities
As a Bulk Loader, your primary responsibility will be to load flour from bulk bins into tanker trucks at the Mill Bulk loading bays for delivery to Bakery customers. Key tasks include:

Completing the loading record sheet and confirming the load

Guiding trucks under the bins and weighing them before loading

Loading flour according to customer orders, specifying type and mass

Taking flour samples for laboratory analysis

Liaising with the Mill team regarding customer and operational requirements

Conducting safety and cleanliness checks to ensure customer satisfaction

Maintaining high housekeeping, food safety, and hygiene standards

Adhering to safety protocols at all times

Performing regular bin dips and cleaning of the Mill and Bulk areas

Assisting with general plant maintenance as required
Qualifications

Health and safety standards knowledge
-
Minimum NQF 4 or Grade 12, or equivalent qualification (Recognition of Prior Learning [RPL] will be considered based on SETA accreditations)

At least 6 months of experience in a similar environment is an advantage

Computer literacy is beneficial
-
Forklift license is an advantage

Working at heights training
