Purpose of the Position
The Business Analyst acts as the interface between various business stakeholders and internal solution delivery teams to optimize business processes and ensure the successful deployment of solutions that align with business strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Continuously improve business processes to support future initiatives that align with strategic objectives.

  • Understand the business landscape, including processes and technologies, and recommend improvements.

  • Align business processes with strategic initiatives.

  • Validate, manage, and prioritize change requests from business stakeholders.

  • Document and maintain business processes using business process modeling methodologies.

  • Present ideas and solutions to both business stakeholders and internal teams.

  • Research and benchmark business processes against industry best practices.

  • Build and maintain relationships with relevant stakeholders.

  • Contribute to project initiatives and documentation at various stages.

  • Document and manage the rollout of initiatives.

  • Monitor and manage project deliverables and performance.

  • Track the status of requirements and review completed projects.

  • Manage ad-hoc projects as needed.

Requirements

Job Incumbent Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Analytical, Commercial, Information Systems, Technology, or Engineering fields.

  • IIBA or a formal accredited qualification/certificate/diploma in Business Analysis (FTI) is highly desirable.

  • 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst.

  • Experience in a retail or supply chain environment is an advantage.

  • Project management experience is advantageous.

  • Knowledge of business process modeling and business architecture.

  • Familiarity with business process management platforms and suites.

  • Proficiency in Google Suite is a plus.
