Value is looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst to support the Commercial Manager in delivering accurate customer quotes and compiling essential KPI reports. This role is key to ensuring data is processed efficiently and used effectively to support commercial decision-making and sales activities.

Purpose of the Role

The Business Analyst will be responsible for analysing customer data, preparing quote inputs, and generating reports that support business operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of data processing, an understanding of pricing structures, and the ability to work collaboratively with commercial and sales teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, interpret, and process customer data provided by sales representatives

• Clean and prepare data by applying zone information and standard rate cards

• Apply appropriate weight scales and distribution patterns to develop accurate pricing

• Present prepared data to the Commercial Manager for review and approval

• Coordinate with sales administration to ensure timely preparation and submission of quotes

• Compile accurate and insightful KPI reports for internal stakeholders

• Provide ad-hoc reports as required to support business analysis and decision-making

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric)

• Relevant BCom degree (e.g., Commerce, Finance, or Business Analytics)

• Proficiency in preparing and presenting professional reports
