Value is looking for a results-driven Business and Solutions Analyst Johannesburg to lead integration and solution delivery initiatives that connect our partners, suppliers, and customers to our cutting-edge processing platform. As a key member of the IT Applications team, you will play a critical role in designing, delivering, and supporting technical and operational solutions that power South Africa’s leading retail supply chains.

Purpose of the Role
To manage and execute partner implementations, system integrations, and solution rollouts while contributing to presales consulting, solution architecture, and continuous process improvement. This role is essential in bridging business needs and technical delivery, ensuring real-time communication and seamless operations across systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a strong understanding of the VALUE processing platform and its technical and operational ecosystem

  • Collaborate with sales and business teams to deliver presales technical consultancy to potential and current clients

  • Design and propose scalable, effective end-to-end integration solutions that align with commercial, technical, and time-to-market goals

  • Create detailed integration project plans in collaboration with PMO, IT development, and third-party teams

  • Initiate and manage projects within the IT department, securing appropriate resources and communicating plans and expectations

  • Analyse, document, and optimise business processes prior to technical implementation

  • Take full ownership of project delivery—including connectivity, configuration, technical alignment, testing (DEV and UAT), and documentation for sign-off

  • Lead scoping, sizing, documentation, implementation, and user training across various project phases

  • Report weekly on all project activities to the CIO and other relevant stakeholders

  • Act as a functional and technical advisor to internal teams and external partners

  • Assist in resolving system or integration issues where required

  • Champion best practices around standardisation, quality, and integration methodology

  • Support continuous improvement and operational alignment across all business units

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 (Matric)

  • Proven experience in partner/system integration projects within logistics, retail, or supply chain

  • Strong project management skills with a proven track record of managing multiple projects

  • Excellent verbal and written English communication

Skills and Competencies

  • Deep understanding of IT solution design and development lifecycles

  • Experience with integration protocols and systems connectivity

  • Background in both internal and external systems delivery

  • Process analysis and documentation capabilities

  • Familiarity with business operations and logistics processes

  • Testing experience and system validation

  • Confident in delivering training to users across junior and executive levels
