Job Description
Our 18-month graduate programme is designed to equip you with the skills and experiences necessary to become a skilled Risk Practitioner within the Business & Commercial Banking (BCB) segment. Under the mentorship of senior executives and managers, you will gain insights into risk management across various business units in South Africa and across Africa.
You will rotate through different departments and learn how risk is managed within the bank. This program will provide you with comprehensive experience in key areas, enabling you to contribute to the Business unit’s risk strategies.

Credit Risk Process: Gain insights into each stage of the credit risk lifecycle, from initial evaluations to the impact on business operations.

Quantitative Analytics: Analyze data to assess current strategies and help develop innovative approaches to enhance business and commercial portfolios.

Credit Evaluations: Understand the credit evaluation process and support business partners to ensure decisions align with the bank’s lending policies.

Credit Risk Lifecycle: Collaborate with the Credit Risk Management team to assist in preparing agreements and managing conditions for loan drawdowns.

Operations Processes: Ensure that detailed standard operating procedures and service level agreements are in place, aligning with credit policies and regulations.

Project Management: Participate in projects, support training initiatives, and contribute to the development of customer journeys.
