Fidelity Vacancies – Cash Centre Supervisor – Edenvale

Fidelity is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cash Centre Supervisor for our Edenvale Branch. Reporting to the Branch Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the accurate processing of deposits in line with client agreements, ensuring consistent quality in cash counting and verification by all team members.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Grade 12 or equivalent

  • Clear criminal record

  • Computer literacy is essential

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a cash centre or similar role (advantageous)

  • Treasury experience will be an added advantage

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks

  • Must be willing to work extra hours when required

  • Proven ability to handle and resolve operational challenges

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee opening and closing of the cash centre where required

  • Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures

  • Supervise counting, verification, balancing, and reconciliation of cash

  • Re-count cash where discrepancies are found

  • Maintain up-to-date daily reports and statistics

  • Ensure documentation is complete, accurate, and properly filed

  • Verify that schedules match physical counts

  • Monitor and enforce the use of registers and incident reporting protocols

  • Handle client queries professionally and promptly

  • Drive customer satisfaction and enforce discipline within the centre

  • Assume accountability for the cash centre in the absence of a manager
