Fidelity Vacancies – Cash Centre Supervisor – Pretoria

Fidelity is looking for a motivated and experienced Cash Centre Supervisor to join our team at the Hermanstad Branch. The main responsibility of this position is to ensure that all deposits are processed in accordance with agreements and that a high standard of counting and verification services is consistently provided by all staff.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Clear criminal record

  • Grade 12 or equivalent

  • Computer literate

  • At least 2 years of experience in a cash centre or similar role (Treasury experience is an advantage)

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks

  • Willing to work overtime when needed

  • Strong problem-solving skills to address challenges as they arise

Job Specification:

  • Responsible for opening and closing the Cash Centre as needed

  • Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

  • Count and verify money accurately

  • Balance and reconcile funds

  • Recount money if discrepancies occur

  • Maintain accurate daily reports and statistics

  • Ensure all relevant documentation is complete, neat, and filed correctly

  • Ensure schedules balance with physical counts

  • Ensure daily registers are used and signed

  • Handle incident reports as required

  • Address and resolve client queries in a professional and timely manner

  • Prioritize client satisfaction at all times

  • Enforce basic discipline within the Cash Centre

  • Take accountability for the Cash Centre in the absence of the manager
