An exciting opportunity exists for a Cash Centre Supervisor at our Hermanstad Branch. The primary purpose of this role is to ensure that all deposits are processed according to the agreements between parties. The Cash Centre Supervisor is responsible for maintaining a high-quality service for money counting and verification, ensuring that the relevant staff consistently meet these standards.
Minimum Requirements:

Clear criminal record
-
Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
-
Computer literate
-
At least 2 years of experience in a cash centre or similar role is advantageous
-
Treasury experience is an advantage
-
Ability to work under pressure and multitask effectively

Willingness to work extra hours when required

Ability to address and resolve challenges as they arise
Job Specification:

Open and close the Cash Centre as required
-
Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

Perform counting and verification of money
-
Balance and reconcile cash accurately
-
Recount money in case of discrepancies
-
Maintain up-to-date daily reports and statistics
-
Ensure all relevant documents are complete, neat, and filed correctly

Ensure that all schedules balance with the physical count

Ensure registers are used and signed for daily

Handle incident reports as required

Address client queries in a professional and timely manner

Maintain a high level of client satisfaction

Enforce basic discipline within the Cash Centre

Be accountable for the Cash Centre in the absence of the manager
