Dis-Chem Pharmacies in Midrand has an exciting opportunity for a Change and Culture Coordinator to join the Head Office team. The purpose of this role is to support and coordinate various activities related to change management and cultural initiatives, while fostering a culture of effective communication within the organization. This position involves engaging with multiple stakeholders to deliver exceptional service.
Minimum Requirements:
Essential:

Matric or equivalent Senior Certificate
-
Degree in Communications, Business Management, Human Resource Management, or a related field

2 to 4 years of experience in change management, internal communications, or a similar role
-
Knowledge and application of research methodology, including both quantitative and qualitative approaches
Advantageous:

Experience within a retail environment
Job Responsibilities:
Change Management Support:

Support the development, planning, and implementation of change initiatives to align with business objectives, organizational culture, and employee engagement.

Assist in assessing change impacts, identifying key stakeholders, and developing tailored communication and training plans.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to apply change management frameworks and best practices.

Monitor change adoption, gather feedback, and analyze data to refine plans and enhance effectiveness.

Provide logistical and administrative support for change-related activities, such as workshops and stakeholder meetings.
Communication Plans:

Develop and implement internal communication plans to support organizational change efforts, ensuring clarity and alignment with company objectives.

Create compelling messaging for different audiences using various communication channels, including emails, intranet updates, town halls, and leadership briefings.

Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure effective communication materials that engage employees and reinforce change messages.

Establish feedback mechanisms to evaluate communication effectiveness and gather employee feedback.
Communication and Content:

Design engaging communication materials like emails, newsletters, presentations, intranet updates, and video scripts to convey essential messages.

Tailor content to different audiences while ensuring clarity, relevance, and consistency with the organization’s tone and branding.

Collaborate with subject matter experts, leadership, and communication teams to simplify complex information into digestible content.

Continuously assess the effectiveness of content and make adjustments to optimize engagement.
Retail-Specific Communication:

Ensure store-level employees receive clear, concise, and actionable communication regarding organizational changes, tailored to their specific needs.

Collaborate with retail management to create and distribute materials that resonate with store staff, fostering understanding of change initiatives.

Use multiple communication channels, such as digital signage and in-store briefings, to reach retail employees and ensure they stay informed.
Engagement and Event Coordination:

Plan and manage surveys, focus groups, and feedback sessions to assess employee sentiment and engagement during change initiatives.

Coordinate town halls, workshops, and other engagement events to communicate change initiatives and foster understanding among employees.

Oversee event logistics, including content, speakers, and coordination, ensuring alignment with change management goals.
Continuous Improvement and Reporting:

Provide logistical and administrative support for change-related activities.

Prepare and deliver accurate reports on employee feedback trends and areas for improvement.

Measure the effectiveness of initiatives through employee feedback, engagement metrics, and follow-up surveys, using the results to optimize future events.
Stakeholder Liaison:

Work closely with HR, Operations, and Leadership teams to align messaging and ensure organizational objectives are met.

Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders to gather insights and secure buy-in for change initiatives.

Act as a liaison between management and employees, promoting open communication and transparency throughout the change process.
