Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa (CCBSA) is recruiting for a Channel Specialist : HORECA within the Sales & Marketing Department. This role focuses on driving brand execution, business alignment, and performance within the hospitality, restaurant, and catering (HORECA) channel.
Role Purpose
The Channel Specialist : HORECA is responsible for implementing regional brand marketing plans, supporting promotional activity, managing key customer relationships, and ensuring effective execution of new product launches. This position bridges the gap between global brand strategies and regional market needs to deliver impactful results in the HORECA segment.
Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with the Monster Energy Company (MEC) marketing team to execute regional brand plans aligned with global brand strategies

Support the development and delivery of joint business plans with HORECA teams to ensure consistent performance and strategic alignment

Provide promotional and activation support to sales and customer teams across regions to drive campaign effectiveness

Work with Category Management and Commercialisation project teams to ensure timely and successful new product launches within the HORECA channel

Build and maintain top-level relationships with key customers, supporting joint initiatives and identifying growth opportunities

Implement national brand campaigns and tailor activations for regional relevance while maintaining brand integrity

Evaluate promotional activities and campaigns, delivering actionable insights for continuous improvement

Collaborate with Trade Marketing to identify innovative solutions and ensure successful execution of campaigns and product rollouts

Partner cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and execution of strategic objectives

Ensure reporting, performance tracking, and communication of results are consistently maintained

Minimum Requirements
Education
-
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field

Postgraduate qualification such as an MBA or Master’s in Marketing is advantageous
Experience
-
Minimum 5 years in FMCG sales, trade marketing, or key account management within hospitality or related sectors

Proven experience in brand marketing execution, joint business planning, and promotional coordination

Familiarity with digital marketing tools, campaign execution, and product commercialization processes
Skills

Ability to translate global brand objectives into regional execution strategies

Strong collaboration with internal teams and external partners

Experience managing impactful marketing campaigns tailored to regional markets

Skilled in promotional logistics and campaign evaluation
