The position of CIT Crewman is currently available at our Parow Branch. The role reports to the Operations Manager and is responsible for the safe collection and delivery of clients’ money, as well as providing proof of delivery and collection.

Minimum Requirements:

• Clear criminal record

• PSIRA accredited with a minimum Grade C qualification

• CIT certificate

• Firearm competency with a minimum handgun qualification (for business purposes)

• At least 2 years of experience in the security industry or a similar role (experience at FSG is an advantage)

• Clear disciplinary record

• A valid driver’s license is an advantage

• Ability to work under pressure

• Physically fit

Job Specification:

• Full responsibility for collecting and delivering clients’ money

• Receiving, sorting, and distributing consignments

• Reporting all delays to the Operations Manager immediately

• Incident prevention and reporting

• Maintaining radio contact with controllers

• Taking preventative action in response to suspicious activity
