Fidelity Vacancies – CIT Crewman

Job Description:
Reporting to the Operations Manager, this position is available at our Parow Branch. The primary responsibility of the CIT Crewman is to collect and deliver clients’ money and provide proof of delivery and collection.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Clear criminal record

  • PSIRA accredited with a minimum Grade C qualification

  • Cash in Transit (CIT) certificate

  • Firearm competency with a minimum handgun qualification (for business purposes)

  • At least 2 years’ experience in the security industry or a similar role (experience at FSG is advantageous)

  • Clear disciplinary record

  • Valid driver’s license is advantageous

  • Ability to work under pressure

  • Physically fit

Job Specification:

  • Full responsibility for collecting and delivering clients’ money

  • Receiving, sorting, and distributing consignments

  • Reporting all delays to the Operations Manager immediately

  • Preventing and reporting incidents

  • Maintaining radio contact with controllers

  • Taking preventative action in response to any suspicious activity
