Fidelity Vacancies – CIT Investigator – Midrand

A vacancy exists for a CIT Investigator within the Fidelity Services Group. This position is designed to focus on investigating cash losses, identifying perpetrators, and recommending effective preventative strategies within the Cash-in-Transit (CIT) environment. The role includes proactive auditing of operational branches and challenging existing procedures to help reduce losses and armed robberies.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Matric certificate or equivalent

  • Code 08 (B) driver’s license

  • Clear criminal record

  • PSIRA accreditation with at least Grade B and CIT certification

  • Completed firearm training in handgun (rifle training preferred) with valid SAPS Firearm Competency Certificate

  • Computer literacy in MS Windows environment

  • Willingness to travel extensively and work irregular hours

  • Minimum of 2–3 years of investigative experience in the security industry

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct investigations into criminal activity and syndicates targeting the CIT division

  • Identify high-risk areas and coordinate intelligence-driven operations

  • Investigate internal cash losses and recommend preventive measures

  • Compile and manage comprehensive case dockets for internal and external investigations

  • Submit evidence to relevant authorities and provide support during legal proceedings

  • Establish and maintain relationships with SAPS, the National Prosecuting Authority, and other law enforcement entities

  • Maintain a database of investigative findings and intelligence

  • Perform operational audits to identify vulnerabilities

  • Challenge existing branch procedures and suggest improvements

  • Work closely with CIT Executive and management to support crime prevention strategies
