Job Description:
The CIT Team Leader position is currently vacant at our Rustenburg Branch. The role is primarily responsible for supporting the Operations Manager in the Cash in Transit (CIT) division, ensuring that all CIT operations are executed according to planned procedures and schedules.
Minimum Requirements:

Clear criminal record
-
PSIRA accredited with at least a Grade C qualification
-
CIT certificate
-
Firearm competency with at least a handgun qualification (for business purposes)

Computer literate (essential)
-
A minimum of 3 years’ experience in the security industry or a similar role (advantageous at FSG)

CIT management or supervisory experience is an advantage
-
Valid driver’s license (advantageous)
-
Own transport (advantageous)
-
Ability to work under pressure
-
Willingness to work irregular hours
-
Clear disciplinary record
Key Performance Areas:
-
Assume full responsibility and accountability for the CIT vehicle, including reporting mechanical faults, refueling, operating security systems, and ensuring the vehicle’s cleanliness

Assist with daily operational tasks

Ensure the security and manage the movement of CIT schedules during transit

Drive the CIT vehicle as needed (if applicable)

Prevent accidents and report any incidents
-
Maintain regular contact with the controllers
-
Conduct security drills and maintain security awareness among the team

Take preventive actions based on reported suspicious activity
-
Liaise with clients and staff, especially management
-
Complete necessary documentation and reports, such as daily rosters

Report all delays to the Operations Manager immediately

Ensure compliance with risk management protocols
