Parmalat Vacancies – Credit Controller – Stellenbosch
Parmalat, a trusted name in the dairy industry and part of the global Lactalis Group, is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Credit Controller to join our team in the Western Cape. In this role, you will be responsible for managing company debt, processing credit applications, and ensuring accurate account reconciliations. This is a key position within the finance team, ensuring cash flow stability and effective credit risk management.
Key Responsibilities

Manage and control assigned customer accounts

Handle telephonic debt collections and resolve outstanding queries with customers and internal stakeholders

Perform account reconciliations and ensure timely payment processing

Monitor and follow up on overdue balances

Assist with complex month-end account reconciliations

Maintain strong professional relationships with key customers
Minimum Requirements
-
Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
-
Tertiary education in finance or accounting is an advantage
-
At least 3 years of experience in a retail finance environment

FMCG industry experience is highly advantageous

Strong Microsoft Excel skills; proficiency in Word and Outlook

Experience with BPCS is an advantage

Strong numerical ability and attention to detail

Ability to work independently, under pressure, and as part of a team

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
-
Bilingualism and prior experience working with Shoprite accounts will be an added advantage
