The Debriefer is responsible for the accurate and efficient debriefing of drivers, trip sheets, and proof of delivery documents in line with company procedures. This includes checking for discrepancies, managing driver incidents, monitoring vehicle conditions, and ensuring proper administrative control and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Duties

• Conduct thorough debriefing sessions with drivers upon return from deliveries

• Verify trip sheets against vehicle tracking data to identify unscheduled stops or deviations

• Collect and account for all vehicle keys at the end of each trip

• Review PODs for completeness, discrepancies, and possible shortages, escalating any issues where required

• Accurately capture and allocate trip information on the Trackmatic system

• Complete Trackmatic debriefing procedures as per standard operating requirements

• Manage and ensure the proper use and return of handheld devices by drivers

Administrative Duties

• Prepare and organize delivery paperwork for the following day

• Allocate collection tasks in accordance with operational requirements

• Issue seals and ensure seal-to-seal compliance is met and documented

Customer Service

• Maintain a high standard of customer interaction during debriefing to support service excellence

• Foster positive relationships with both internal teams and external customers

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric)

• Strong computer literacy, including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook

• Solid understanding of local geographic areas

• Good verbal and written communication skills
