Purpose of the Job
The Distribution Centre Admin Supervisor will be responsible for managing all administrative and financial tasks within the Distribution Centre (DC).
Key Responsibilities

Oversee the authorisation and payment of overtime and allowances for both permanent and FTC staff.

Consolidate labour broker staff hours and send monthly reports to the Central Office People Support.

Compile data for meetings and budget preparation.
-
Extract data from WMS and provide it to the DC Manager.

Ensure the performance of the payroll administration process is managed effectively, both for DC Management and Central Office payroll.

Supervise the administration of stock control processes (including receiving, distribution, storage, and quality control).

Manage the capex expense control process and ensure opex control sheets are maintained.

Ensure order control sheets are in place and regularly updated.

Manage the DC purchase and payment processes.

Analyze GL and Bvar variance reports for discrepancies or variances, and report findings to PEP Finance/STAR.

Reconcile data and identify variances where necessary.

Verify labour broker invoices against the approved costing schedule and resolve any discrepancies.
-
Oversee the authorisation and payment of weekly and monthly production bonuses for permanent and labour broker staff.

Manage and maintain the fixed asset register (FAR).
-
Supervise the admin department, ensuring that all orders are approved and processed on SAP.

Monitor actual performance against planned performance (productivity and quality) and provide feedback to staff.

Manage TES leave schedules and ensure staffing, tools, and equipment requests are met when necessary.

Ensure staffing requirements are managed and oversee reporting staff.

Follow correct procedures for new supplier management and ensure proper approval for current suppliers and the supplier matrix.

Liaise with stakeholders regarding operational DC admin issues, including Central Office Finance, Receiving, Storage, QC, and Distribution.

Ensure that all DC Manager reporting is completed daily.
Requirements
-
Grade 12 qualification
-
A commercial degree is an advantage
-
5 years of supervisory experience
-
5 years of DC experience is advantageous
-
5 years of financial experience
-
Computer proficiency (G Suite)
-
Retail and/or SAP experience is an advantage
-
Bilingualism is an advantage
