Fidelity Vacancies – EHS Specialist

Fidelity Services Group is seeking a qualified and experienced EHS Specialist to lead and support the implementation of the Environmental, Health, and Safety Management System across the region. The role focuses on driving cultural change and promoting compliance with all relevant statutory, company, and client EHS requirements, with the aim of minimizing risks, incidents, and environmental impact.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience Required:

  • 4 to 6 years of experience in Environmental Health and Safety Management, preferably in construction or subcontractor environments

  • Relevant EHS certifications (e.g. RCAT, Risk Management, Environmental Health & Safety Management)

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

  • Skilled in policy development, delivering training, and conducting presentations

  • Valid driver’s license

  • A diploma or related qualification in EHS Management will be advantageous

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote a culture of Zero Harm to people and the environment throughout the region

  • Partner with management to ensure consistent implementation of EHS policies and systems

  • Provide leadership and support to the Regional EHS team through mentoring and development

  • Integrate EHS initiatives into business planning and performance measurement

  • Develop and implement regional and national EHS procedures and projects

  • Oversee risk assessment and control systems, ensuring they are effectively applied across sites

  • Ensure compliance with contractor management protocols

  • Assist in the investigation of incidents, accidents, and near misses, and help implement corrective actions

  • Design and deliver EHS training programs

  • Support occupational rehabilitation and injury management processes

  • Stay up to date on legislative changes and communicate relevant updates across the business

  • Conduct and support internal audits

  • Collaborate with internal EHS teams and external regulatory or industry bodies

  • Willingness and availability to travel across the region as needed
