Job Description
Spar is looking for a qualified Fresh Produce Supervisor to oversee the operations within the Produce Department. The key responsibilities include managing inventory, pricing, product range, and ensuring the aesthetic appeal of the produce to meet set targets and foster departmental growth.
Key Responsibilities

Manage departmental targets and profitability

Control stock levels to ensure availability and freshness

Oversee signage and pricing strategies

Coordinate and manage fresh produce promotions

Ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained

Supervise and manage staff performance

Provide exceptional customer service
Minimum Requirements
-
Matric / NQF Level 4 equivalent
-
At least 3 years of experience in retail or completion of a trainee management program

Proficiency in computer literacy
-
Experience in industrial relations
