Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee inventory and risk management to ensure optimal stock levels.
- Manage pack slips and customer parcel tracking for seamless order fulfilment.
- Drive process management and efficiency improvements across operations.
- Generate reports and analyses to provide visibility and insights.
- Ensure business integration and alignment across departments.
- Lead projects related to fulfilment management, including financial oversight, talent management, performance evaluation, succession planning, and employee engagement.
Experience Required:
Essential:
- 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in supply chain management.
- Previous experience in order fulfilment and logistics.
- Proven change management experience.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in online commerce.
Preferred:
- At least 5 years of experience in a clothing retail environment.
Skills Required:
- Strong ability to engage and interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficient in interpreting complex operational environments and implementing high-performance management methodologies.
- Skilled in data analytics for problem evaluation and solution decision-making.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent influencing, persuading, and negotiating skills.
- Strong numeracy skills with a good understanding of finance related to stock management.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Proven leadership abilities with a capability to work cross-functionally in a service-oriented environment.
- Expertise in logistics supply chain design and development, including proficiency in information management and system tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to operate on both tactical and strategic levels.
- Self-motivated and proactive in taking initiative.
Qualifications Required:
Essential:
- Matric with Mathematics.
- Degree in Logistics, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or Business/Commerce.
Preferred:
- Tertiary qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Industrial Engineering.
Job-Related Knowledge:
- Experience liaising with senior-level stakeholders.
- Knowledge of relevant consumer protection act principles.
- Familiarity with online commerce pick and pack customer order processes.
Additional Requirements:
- Must be available after hours, including weekends.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Flexible approach to work, as dark store operations may span various shifts.
