Buco Vacancies – General Assistant – Empangeni

Job Overview:
BUCO is seeking a dependable and efficient General Assistant to join our Empangeni team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting both customers and drivers, ensuring that orders are accurately prepared, stock is organized, and vehicles are properly loaded and maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

• Order Preparation: Accurately prepare customer and driver orders for collection or delivery.
• Loading & Offloading: Assist customers and suppliers with the safe and efficient loading and offloading of vehicles.
• Stock Organization: Keep yard stock items neatly packed, organized, and easily accessible.
• Vehicle Care: Ensure vehicles are clean, properly loaded, and maintained for safe transport.
• Customer Support: Provide prompt assistance to customers and suppliers in the workshop/joinery areas.
• Wash Bay Duties: Accurately complete all activities related to vehicle washing and maintenance.
• Store Maintenance: Ensure that store shelves, boards, and other stock items are neatly arranged and accessible to customers.
• Promote Company Values: Uphold and promote BUCO’s values and culture in all daily activities and customer interactions.

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• Knowledge of products and materials is advantageous
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to provide excellent customer service
