  • Maintain and update the enterprise risk register, identifying new and evolving risks while developing and executing mitigation strategies.

  • Identify systemic fraud trends and control gaps to recommend and implement improvements in business processes and internal controls.

  • Collaborate with law enforcement, regulatory authorities, and internal stakeholders to strengthen compliance and support investigation outcomes.

  • Champion ethical business practices and corporate governance frameworks across all CCBA operations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in forensic auditing, risk management, law, or a related discipline.

  • Professional certifications in forensic investigation are strongly preferred.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 15–18 years in forensic audit and investigations, with at least 12 years in a senior or lead investigator role in a multinational, FMCG, or high-risk corporate environment.

  • Demonstrated expertise in identifying financial fraud, managing investigations, and implementing risk controls across complex and multi-jurisdictional operations.

  • Deep understanding of fraud legislation, criminal procedures, evidence handling, and legal frameworks across the African region.

Skills:

  • Advanced knowledge of criminal law, civil litigation, asset forfeiture, and the laws of evidence across African jurisdictions.

  • Proven ability to lead and manage forensic audits, conduct interviews, collect and analyze evidence, and produce legally defensible reports.

  • Strong risk assessment skills and the ability to design and implement enterprise-wide mitigation strategies.

  • High proficiency in forensic technology, data analytics, and audit tools used to detect financial discrepancies or fraud.

  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including legal, finance, operations, and law enforcement.

  • Strong leadership and decision-making capabilities, with a strategic mindset and a commitment to ethical conduct.

  • Excellent communication skills for preparing reports, presenting findings, and engaging with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Ability to manage sensitive matters discreetly while ensuring business continuity and protecting corporate integrity.

Application Notes:

This position requires a strategic and detail-oriented leader with exceptional investigative acumen and a strong commitment to ethical conduct. The role offers an opportunity to make a significant impact by strengthening CCBA’s resilience against fraud and risk.
