Job Description
We are currently seeking an HR Intern to assist with various administrative tasks and support the daily activities of our HR department. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in human resources and enhance their professional skills.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Update internal databases with new employee information, including contact details and employment forms.

  • Prepare HR-related reports as required.

  • Participate in organizing company events and career days.

  • Assist with the recruitment and onboarding process for new hires.

  • Collaborate with the team to improve departmental operations.

  • Provide support with human resources-related administrative tasks.

  • Plan and coordinate HR events or functions.

  • Maintain an efficient filing system and update the internal HR database.

  • Assist with the annual BBB-EE audit process.

  • Contribute to the implementation of Organisational Development and Employee Wellness initiatives.

  • Assist the HR Manager and Transformation Executive with ad-hoc projects.

  • Handle HR-related queries and direct employees to the appropriate team member.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of N6, Diploma, or Degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, or a related field.

  • Proficiency in MS Office: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a keen attention to detail.

  • Ability to work well in a team and manage individual assignments/projects.

  • Strong multitasking abilities.

  • Knowledge of labor laws, including BCEA, LRA, EEA, SDA, and BBB-EE.
