Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa (CCBSA) is offering an exciting opportunity for an In Service Trainee Quality Assurance position within our Manufacturing department. We are seeking motivated individuals with the right skills and a passion for quality to join our team and gain hands-on experience. The successful candidate will report directly to the Quality Assurance Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform quality tests to ensure product and packaging meet company standards.

• Compile reports and communicate out-of-specification findings.

• Support audit processes by maintaining accurate and up-to-date quality records.

• Help ensure cost-effective and compliant quality control processes.

Knowledge Required:

• Understanding of microbiology, chemistry, biochemistry, physics, and mathematics relevant to the food industry.

• Familiarity with laboratory policies, procedures, and quality assurance practices.

Skills and Attributes:

• Capability to apply theoretical scientific knowledge to real-world business solutions.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Grade 12 certificate with a minimum of 40% in Mathematics (not Mathematical Literacy) and Physical Science.

• Minimum 40% pass in two South African languages.

• Currently studying towards a qualification in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Food Technology, or a related field.

• Completed all theoretical modules and requires practical exposure to graduate.

• Must not have participated in an In-Service Training programme before.

• A letter from the tertiary institution confirming the need for workplace experience is required.

Additional Criteria:

• Must be a South African citizen.

• Must meet Employment Equity requirements.

• Must have been unemployed at the time of appointment.

• Age must be between 18-35 years.

• The In Service Trainee Quality Assurance programme runs for 12 months.
