Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa (CCBSA) is offering an exciting opportunity within our Manufacturing department for an In-Service Trainee in Quality Assurance. This role will provide hands-on experience in quality assurance processes, allowing you to apply your academic knowledge in a practical, real-world setting. The successful candidate will report directly to the Quality Assurance Manager.
Key Duties & Responsibilities

Conduct quality tests and compile detailed reports.

Communicate deviations from specifications to maintain product and packaging quality in line with company standards.

Ensure cost efficiency and proper record-keeping for auditing purposes.
Knowledge
-
Understanding of microbiology, chemistry, biochemistry, physics, and mathematics as they relate to the food industry.

Familiarity with laboratory policies and practices.

Skills, Experience & Education
-
Grade 12 with Mathematics and Physical Science passed with 40% (NOT Mathematics Literacy).

Two South African languages passed with 40%.

Currently studying towards a qualification in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Food Technology, or a related field.

Completed theoretical modules and need practical exposure to complete your qualification.

Must be willing to complete the In-Service/Experiential Training in the industry.

Must not have previously completed an In-Service Trainee programme at another company or organization.

Must be a South African citizen.

Must be an Employment Equity candidate.

Must have been unemployed at the time of appointment.

Must be between 18-35 years of age.

Candidate must provide a letter from the institution requesting workplace experience to complete their qualification.

The In-Service Trainee programme lasts 12 months.
