Miladys is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Instore Visual Merchandiser for our Walmer Park store in Gqeberha. This role is perfect for someone who is self-driven, passionate about fashion and retail presentation, and eager to create visual displays that elevate the in-store shopping experience and support sales growth.

You will be responsible for executing visually compelling and brand-aligned merchandising that meets the standards and direction provided by the Visual Merchandising team.

Key Responsibilities

Visual Merchandising Execution
Implement weekly window and floor visual updates in line with business instruction letters and visual guides. Ensure all drive aisles, windows, and fixtures reflect the brand’s visual identity with correct product display and pricing.

In-store Displays and Mannequins
Manage all in-store visual materials including signage, mannequin displays, and marketing elements. Dress mannequins according to visual guidelines, maintain merchandising props, and ensure visual tools are stored safely and are easily accessible.

Communication and Collaboration
Maintain communication with the Area Visual Coordinator by submitting images of completed displays and store setups. Build strong relationships with store teams and the support centre to ensure smooth execution of visual updates.

Promotional Execution
Implement promotional displays effectively to highlight product value and pricing, ensuring strong visual appeal and clear communication to customers.

Sales and Customer Service Support
Use product knowledge to engage with customers on the sales floor. Support customer decision-making by promoting outfit coordination, product features, and add-on sales to drive basket size.

Qualifications and Experience

• Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) or equivalent

• Previous retail experience, with a strong focus on in-store merchandising

• Creativity and a good eye for design and presentation

• Strong communication skills

• Computer literacy

• Understanding of the retail environment, customer behaviour, and product positioning
