About the Role
Tiger Brands is looking for a skilled Instrument Technician: Beverages to join our team. In this role, you will ensure the reliability and accuracy of plant instruments and control systems, supporting operational excellence and compliance with safety standards. You will work closely with operators, electrical and mechanical teams, providing technical support, guidance, and training while focusing on optimizing equipment performance to maximize availability and product quality.
Key Responsibilities

Provide technical and specialist support to shift-based teams during operations.

Ensure plant availability of more than 95%.

Install, maintain, repair, and calibrate instruments and control systems.

Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues to minimize downtime.

Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance for optimal performance.

Test equipment to ensure accuracy, reliability, and compliance.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and calibrations.

Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize system performance.
Minimum Requirements

Technical Diploma or Trade-Tested Artisan qualification

Minimum S4/N6 with at least 3 years’ relevant experience

Strong knowledge of Maintenance Systems and Engineering Standards
