Mr Price Vacancies – IT Project Coordinator

Mr Price is looking for a highly organized and energetic IT Project Coordinator to join our fast-paced Project Management Office (PMO). This role is key in supporting project teams by coordinating activities, maintaining project documentation, and ensuring projects follow established methodologies and procedures.

You will work closely with Project Managers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to support the smooth delivery of IT projects across the business. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable working with project management tools, and able to communicate effectively at all levels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the preparation and maintenance of project documentation, including business cases and procurement materials

  • Coordinate project meetings, venues, travel arrangements, and related logistics

  • Keep project schedules and records updated using project management tools

  • Support project governance by maintaining the calendar of activities and ensuring compliance with processes

  • Take responsibility for predefined tasks within projects, occasionally acting as an Assistant Project Manager

  • Maintain and update risk logs, change control documentation, and lessons learned

  • Support stakeholder engagement by arranging meetings, maintaining communication plans, and ensuring key updates are shared

  • Monitor and report on project health, tracking progress against baseline forecasts

  • Ensure financial and billing records for projects are up to date, including invoicing support

  • Assist with PMO reporting and internal meetings

  • Help maintain centralised repositories for project data and ensure accessibility for project teams

Qualifications and Experience

  • Matric required; working towards an IT or Project Management certification is preferred

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in IT project administration or a related support role

  • Familiarity with the full project lifecycle and the challenges of implementing IT solutions

  • Working knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and software

  • Proficient in project planning, documentation, and stakeholder communication

  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a deadline-driven environment

  • Basic understanding of vendor coordination and invoice management
