Clover is offering an exciting opportunity for a qualified Laboratory Technician to join the team in Gqeberha. The primary responsibility of this role is to conduct basic laboratory tests and report on the results, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of the analyses.

Requirements:

• National Diploma

• Relevant experience in applying job-related concepts, techniques, and processes at the required level

• Fluent in Business English

• Intermediate computer literacy

• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays

Duties and Responsibilities:

Setup, Maintain, and Operate Laboratory Equipment:

• Prepare and maintain stocks of chemical reagents, microbiological reagents, cultures, and media

• Operate laboratory equipment in compliance with standard operating procedures

Conduct Sampling and Testing:

• Prepare and analyze samples

• Isolate and identify microbial contaminants

• Perform routine chemical and microbiological analyses

• Report results of analyses accurately

• Maintain detailed records of all testing activities

• Prepare microbiology-related validations and protocols

• Interpret results and provide feedback to the team

Record Keeping and Reporting:

• Ensure adherence to established standards for record-keeping and reporting
