The Local Supervisor Bakery will play a vital role in executing operational plans, managing resources efficiently, and ensuring that all bakery standards, processes, and policies are consistently maintained.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 / Matric / Equivalent
• Preferably NQF 3 Bakery qualification
• Minimum 1 year experience as a Baker or Bakery Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular quality checks on bakery products
• Ensure execution of bakery plans and guides 100%
• Handle and manage products according to SOPs
• Ensure products are baked to recipe specifications
• Prepare the department for trade by store opening
• Monitor fast-selling items and their impact on sales and margins
• Wrap and pack products to company standards
• Maintain sufficient stock to meet customer demand
• Participate in stock take processes
• Train and develop bakery staff within the department
